Accutane users must wait for a minimum of 6 months after their last dose to continue getting waxed.

You may take a pain reliever 30 minutes before your appointment
Hair must be at least a quarter inch long so that the wax will adhere correctly (generally 2 to 3 weeks of growth)
It is helpful to exfoliate the night before
Pre-care

Slight redness, irritation, and swelling may occur after waxing
Avoid touching the waxed area to keep it clean
Do not exfoliate waxed area for 48 hours and start with light exfoliation
Only use gentle nonscented products in the area – avoid artificial fragrances
